City Nature Challenge: Nighttime Exploration
April 29, 2023 @ 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Calling all community scientists! This program will focus on exploring Floracliff’s ponds and forest edges after dark for the City Nature Challenge. We’ll focus on discovering and documenting frogs, moths, and more. We recommend that each registered party have at least one member who has, or can create, an iNaturalist account in advance of the program.
Bring: headlamp/flashlight, drinking water, closed-toe shoes, hiking stick (optional), camera or smart phone for taking pictures
Hike Leaders: Shelby Fulton, terrestrial zoologist at Office of Kentucky Nature Preserves, & Floracliff naturalists
Hiking level: Easy, with visibility affected by nighttime conditions
The meeting location will be emailed to all registered participants a few days before the hike.
