$5Do you love documenting plants and animals and keeping up with your own life lists? Do you take a lot of plant and animal pictures on your smart phone or digital camera? If so, join iNaturalist and its numerous Kentucky based projects that are available for documenting biodiversity in the state. Need training? Come to Floracliff! With this training, you will learn how to use the app and desktop version of iNaturalist to document plants and animals indoors, and then get out in the field to use your new skills. You will get tips on what kinds of pictures to take, and also learn how this information is used to further our understanding of the distribution and conservation of species in our state. Make sure to sign up for an account on iNaturalist and download the app on your smartphone before coming to the training.
