Mindful Hiking: The Healing Power of Nature
September 8 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm$10.00
Join us for a sensory exploration of Floracliff. Our intention will be finding the peace of mind that comes from opening to sights, sounds, and scents of the woodlands. On our walk we will meditate and explore the mindfulness of movement while opening to a greater awareness of this amazing space.
The three co-Facilitators are Koru mindfulness certified teachers: Dr. Connie Jennings (firstname.lastname@example.org) MD, Director: UK College of Medicine: Integrative Medicine and Health,
Dr. Lee Walmsley (email@example.com), PhD RN, College of Nursing,
Dr. Dan Stone (firstname.lastname@example.org), UK Rosenthal Endowed Research Chair, mindfulness researcher.
Hike difficulty: rated moderate to difficult, due to steep and uneven terrain; there may also be some slick spots near the creek
Optional: hiking poles, snack, camera
