May 11, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
$15.00Join us for a special outing to Floracliff, a 346-acre nonprofit nature sanctuary situated along the Kentucky River Palisades in Fayette County. All visitation to Floracliff is limited to guided hikes and educational programs for small groups, providing a unique balance between protection of the sanctuary and promotion of the region’s biodiversity and natural history.
For this evening program, Volunteer Naturalists Ward Ransdell and Dan Patrick will lead hikers along the upland trails with stops along the way including the pollinator field and Trail’s End Lodge.
In order to limit the introduction of invasive seeds and to protect the diversity of life in our woodland habitats, all visitors must stay on designated trails at all times.
Meeting details, directions, and digital waiver will be emailed to all registered participants.
Hike distance and difficulty: 1-1.5 miles; rated easy
Bring: water, camera
Optional: hiking poles, snack
